Cornel West (Tulsa, 2 de junho de 1953) é um filósofo, autor, ator, crítico, ativista dos direitos humanos e membro dos Socialistas Democráticos da América. É professor em Princeton.^[1] Sua obra caracteriza-se pelo estudo da raça, gênero e classe na sociedade dos Estados Unidos.
